Moich Abrahams - 1st Solo Exhibition on the Moon (2019)

  • Nathan Taylor

An exhibition of work by Moich Abrahams. The first solo art exhibition on the Moon (virtually). This is a virtual exhibition in the Moon Gallery showing Moich Abrahams’ work from the early 70s to now. It includes a selection of his prints, etchings, ceramics and specially created sculptures. It also features a memorial room in memory of Moich’s mother’s family, who perished in the Holocaust. “I am interested in unwrapping the mysterious and reinventing child-like expressiveness...looking inwards in a light hearted way.” - Moich Abrahams

There are more than 60 large-scale artworks on show, as well as a selection of installation shots from Moich's real-world exhibitions. When visitors enter the gallery space they receive a personal introduction from the artist.
In addition to his many paintings, Moich has also transformed his fine art into a series of 3D sculptural pieces. These giant spheres are based on his paintings, and show his talent in a new and dynamic way, allowing them to be viewed from any angle.
Moich's surreal and playful vision has even inspired the way that artwork is viewed. You can explore on foot, or take a ride on a passing UFO (shaped like a nipple, naturally) and fly through the canyons of the Moon gallery.
