Creative Media Skills is a leading training provider for the film industry. They work hand in hand with some of the most experienced technicians, and offer courses where these tutors can pass on their experience and craft. This film is part of a series produced for Creative Media Skills to showcase this talent. Stuart Bray is a highly regarded makeup effects artist, with more than 15 years’ experience in the film and television industry. His impressive resume includes highly popular and award winning films and TV Series such as: Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator, Game of Thrones and Shaun of the Dead among others.  I was fortunate enough to direct the interview with Stuart and ask him about his career. This was important to me as I have a huge passion for film and the magic of behind the scenes stories. Due to the nature of the series, we had incredibly little time to finesse the setup, although we were keen to elevate the look beyond the run-and-gun approach. In the lighting I made use of available practical lamps, and used two cameras so that we could guarantee close up coverage of any key anecdotes. The film was edited in-house by our post-production team.
