I am a director and editor in film production with seven years’ experience, working with clients such as Pinewood Studios, Historic Royal Palaces and the University of Reading. My expertise is in documentary and location-based projects, where I have directed crew and self-shot with RED, Sony and Canon camera systems, editing in the Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve. Food For Thought, an upcoming documentary focusing on vegan activism and culture around the world, featuring footage from the UK, US, South Africa and Croatia. I am currently working on an assembly edit for the production.
Project: Behind the scenes material for the British independent comedy Eaten by Lions captured from its London premiere. - I interviewed and filmed members of the cast, crew and audience whilst capturing accompanying GVs. - I edited and graded the films for release on the film’s social media channels.
Creating a film to promote the University of Reading’s Art Lab, which brings schools from areas outside London to the Tate Modern to experience a range of activities at the Tate Exchange. - I operated camera, capturing organic documentary footage of the activities held at the Tate Modern. - I edited and graded a teaser and full film to encourage engagement and funding for the Art Lab project.
In 2012 I co-founded a production company and subsequently built it into a trusted commercial entity. With this experience I have gained unique creative directorship and team leadership skills that can only be learned by being at the forefront of a growing startup business. During production I acted as director across the development, shooting and editing stages on various video projects.
