Moonscape & Earthrise

A small side-project of mine while work has dwindled recently, I challenged myself with creating a moonscape that looked as photorealistic as possible! I knew I had succeeded when viewers thought it was simply a photo taken from one of the Apollo missions! The fine dust scattered across the landscape required a particle system of over 300,000 small stone objects to be used. With more computing power I hope to improve this with even more particles littering the desolate moonscape...
