A first in Fundraising technology We introduced the latest Near-Field Communication (NFC) contactless technology and embedded it in wearable badges — a fundraising first. The Movember badges create a visible branded talking-point — with the added benefit of allowing donors to easily donate by placing their smartphone near to the badge. No more sign-up sheets, no more sharing links, no more chasing people for money, no more “I don’t have any cash”. To generate PR around Movember being the first to use this technology in such a way, We also produced a fundraising video. This heightened the momentum of campaign, as the badges hit the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
