CLIENT: Kamera Film (Producer) DIRECTOR: Zulfu Livaneli AGENCY: RKLM YEAR: 2010 LOCATION: Istanbul, Turkey ROLE: Assistant Creative Director ​​ For this major epic drama, Veda, directed by the renowned Turkish writer, poet, and filmmaker Zülfü Livaneli, Veda told the story of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the revolutionary leader and founding father of modern Turkey. ​​ As Assistant Art Director for the film Veda, directed by Zülfü Livaneli, a unique invitation box was designed for the VIP gala. Initially managing traffic and client relations at RKLM, the role expanded into a creative position within an award-winning team. ​ The invitation featured a meticulously crafted wooden box with period-specific carvings, lined with burgundy velvet, and containing a pocket watch set to 9:05 AM—the exact time of Atatürk's death. The cracked watch glass symbolized a historic moment when Atatürk’s watch deflected a bullet during battle.
