The worlds first MTV Mile High Gig featured performances from kiwi bands the Dukes and Goodnight Nurse at 37,000 feet! The highest in-flight commercial gig EVER! The promotiion won me a silver PROMAX for "Best Innovative Idea" in 2007. It also secured Air NZ the best online ad campaign award at the '2007 People’s Choice NetGuide Web Award' and ZM Radio the best radio promotion at the 'TRN Radio Awards'.
The project secured over $2 million dollars in media value via a campaign that spanned on-air, print, radio and online promotion.
More importantly it drove local brand recognition and cemented MTV as a local innovator. It also established an incredible relationships with NZ most iconic brand, Air New Zealand.
