MTV VMAs Paper Dolls

We were commissioned by MTV to produce a series of illustrations in support of the 2020 VMAs. We jumped at the chance to work with such a seminal company, and illustrate some truly iconic artists and moments. As part of the first project, we produced a series of 4 illustrations for use across social media under the #MTVxHECreative hashtag. These first four pieces highlighted iconic moments from each of the four decades that the awards have been running for. It’s no secret that we’re hugely influenced by music at HECreative, so this really was a dream project to work on.
