A concertina style information guide for Museum Of Pacific Arts.
Architect Gianna Lui contacted me about a proposal for a new museum complex for Sydney's iconic Cockatoo Island precinct. The primary function for the proposal was to define a new home for Australia's collection of Pacific Arts to advocate the rich history of the pacific arts and to encourage high standards of conservation and preservation of the material culture from Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
My participation in this project was to design an information guide which would communicate upcoming exhibits, showcase touring collections explaining their cultural significance and also provide general information about the site including transportation modes to the island and floor plans of collections and amenities in the museum.
