CLIENT: Diageo COMPANY: Sony Music BRAND: Istanbul Vodka YEAR: 2017-2018 LOCATION: Istanbul, Turkey ROLE: Project Director, Creative Director ​​ A sub-record label under, Sony Music fully sponsored by client.​ ​ As Senior Brand Manager at Sony Music Turkey, I created, pitched, and led the execution of Blue Night Records, a pioneering sub-label fully sponsored by Istanbul Vodka. Designed to navigate Turkey’s strict alcohol advertising regulations, this initiative became the first client-funded sub-label within Sony Music’s global network across 65 countries, opening new revenue streams for the company. ​ ​ Creative Concept & Strategy: Developed and executed a strategic concept through data analysis to align the brand with youthful, urban culture through emerging rock talent, while complying with advertising restrictions. ​ Music & Video Production: Oversaw music production, video releases, and digital distribution on platforms like Spotify and YouTube. ​ Brand Identity & Design: Crafted a distinctive visual identity using graffiti, street style, and the color blue to resonate with the target audience. Events & Fan Engagement: Directed concerts, festivals, and the label’s launch event, enhancing fan engagement with artists. ​ Vinyl Revival: Reintroduced limited-edition blue vinyl records, adding exclusivity and value to the label’s releases.
