MUTANT-NATION

My final year project MUTANT-NATION is based on 5G implementation across the world forcing fashion to become for protection. Set in the near future, a modern post-apocalyptic landscape where the 5G is a part of day-to-day life yet damaging to human health. I have focussed on the Amaranthus and Cockscomb plants for inspiration to combat the problem, as they soak up radiation. I then designed a collection of ‘mutated’ everyday and outerwear garments with strong texture and silhouette focus.
