- Helping Curate the visual arts side of an arts and culture festival @ Ugly Duck Space, Bermondsey, London, UK. - #MxMEN is a creative festival which will delight your eyes, tease your brain, warm your heart, get you grooving, put a big grin on your face, and maybe even tickle your feels. Our programme is three days full of stuff for everyone, whatever you're interested in: ARTS; MUSIC; TALKS; FILMS; PERFORMANCE; COMEDY; SPOKEN WORD; WORKSHOPS; AFTERPARTIES; INTERACTIVE ART; and LOADS MORE! What's it all about? #MxMEN is the first festival asking what does positive masculinity look like? -and celebrating it. If old ideas of masculinity are outdated we need to do more than condemn them, we need to find the alternative. What is positive masculinity? How do we act it out? Who owns masculinity? Do masculinity and femininity exist? Currenty there’s a real lack of discussion on these questions, so we decided to create the festival #MxMen as a space built to invite everyone to to freely explore positive masculinity.
