My Battery Is Low and It's Getting Dark

Patrick Thomas' Open_Collab workshop is a ‘self-run workshop that is designed to encourage dialogue, experimentation and - most importantly - collaboration.’ The Opportunity Mars Rover forms the basis of our Open_Collab workshop. ‘My Battery Is Low and Its Getting Dark’ is an interpretation of the last message sent from Opportunity to NASA in 2018. This is the quote that informs all imagery created. This project was made in collaboration with Billie Sprong and Lucy Barraclough. Our collaboration extends the workshop into a publication and a set of 3 T-shirts that feature the overprinted outcomes.
