NANOVISION GROUP WEB

Nanovision Group is a Russian Ophthalmology company with offices in Russia and the UK. They required an easy to navigate, elegant website which would demonstrate their Russian heritage, products and technology, it was required in two languages: Russian and English. The client’s first priority was clarity above all, as Nanovision Group is a B2C company and the website was part of the launch into a European market. With the client in Russia, the account handling company Medeuronet in France, and developers Odd Panda Design and myself as a designer, in Edinburgh, logistically it was a complicated project.

The client wanted a responsive design website which could be easily updated and managed by their team. As a result we ended up building Wordpress CMS.

MY ROLE

The design process started taking shape after a few consultations with the account team, trying to identify the main needs of the client, who were quite clear on their priorities and their vision. After we agreed upon the main information architecture of the site, I designed three routes, one of which was chosen to be developed further.

Apart from being a ux/ui designer, part of my duties included managing the work of the developers as well as making sure we adhered to the budget and the time scale.
