Napoleon’s dream

The painting is based on a historical event. After the Waterloo Campaign, Napoleon was banished onto a lonely island－－St Helena. A friend sent him a set of chess which contains an escaping map. Unfortunately, Napoleon didn’t find the secret in the chess until his death.
