Nature For Wellness

As a designer, I am drawn to aspects of nature for inspiration due to its fluidity, texture and delicacy. This collection of interior fabrics and wallpapers for luxury Hotels and Spas is inspired by dried flower bundles and herbal smudge sticks. These are often associated with health benefits and healing through the use of aromas and medicines. The colours and appearance of the arrangements of bundles have provided me with interesting motifs and repeats to translate into my collection. I have aimed to capture the texture and delicacy of the dried bundles through the use of detailed drawing and painting. This enabled me to create unique designs, with my drawings being the key aspect. My collection of fabrics and wallpapers aim to enhance the tranquility of luxury the Hotel and Spa interiors, with my bold use of colour, adding a contemporary feel to the space. The imagery within this collection aims to enhance the guests' experience by connecting them to nature.
