This project involved rebranding the Neon social media, specifically Instagram. I curated an aesthetic that I applied to all social media outlets (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Linked In) and ensured it was adhered to. I specified what kind of posts were to be posted on the Instagram feed to keep it consistent - only video content. I then test ran a series of Instagram stories that appealed both to new artists, music personnel and our avid music love readership. These stories involved topics such as Music Business News and Analysis; What We Can Learn From Other Artists; Tuesday's Tune (and why we love it); Top Tips from Industry Professionals, as well as keeping stories updated with latest website content. These stories were all accordance with the rebranding of the site that I conceptualised - making Neon a site for new artists in an effort to give it a niche and attract artists not only by showcasing their work but by educating them too.
