NEW DESIGNERS 2020 - UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE: BA (Hons) Product and Industrial Design

Welcome to the work of of the Product and Industrial Design programme at the University of Hertfordshire. We combine an industry focused approach with research-based enquiry for the design, manufacture and implementation of consumer products and product service systems within a global arena. Students will acquire both the technical and design skills relevant to industry practice along with conceptual research skills to prepare them to address the issues such as sustainability and the engagement with new technological interfaces. The program works closely with industry partners who have collaborated with and participated in live projects and open studios for the students.
