New Era Cap Company: Marketing Design Intern
For my industrial placement year as part of my degree, I worked at New Era Cap Company's head office in Europe based in Milton Keynes in the UK. My role as a Marketing Design intern was to be responsible for all the web and print graphics of the brand, including product photography, social media campaigns, promotion of key seasonal launches, internal sales meetings and retail environments.
Below are some examples of the product photography that i've done throughout the year. It was fun being able to progress and develop my photography skills at New Era Cap Company as it is a medium that I really enjoy using and I hope to have more opportunities in the future to do so.
Whilst interning at New Era Cap Company, i've also had the opportunity to combine my product photography with social media and website banners to promote collections and drops. It was crucial for me to understand how different social media platforms interact with users and how the website looks to understand what the best formatting for the different banners would be and which ways would create the best engagement with customers using the platforms.
I also was able to practice creating animated pieces using Adobe After Effects with pre-made assets provided. These were non-official projects that I had created but I used templates from other official projects to learn how to use the software and develop my own ideas and skills through creating these.
