In the run up to the 2016 Olympics, NikeUK hosted various cross-category activations, bringing the olympic fever to the streets of London. Fromcustomisations in the SNKRSCUBE, to track night take overs at Truman Brewery to even shutting down Regent Street.
Yes you read right SHUT DOWN regent street. This was a truely unforgettable send off for Nike's British elite athletes before the Rio Olympic Games 2016. The parade consisted of 200 members of the public who emerked on the parade up Regent Street, led by the one and only Mo Farah himself. The parade ended at Nike Town London, where a inspirational speech was read to the crowds, inspiring them to push themselves and believe that everyone has 'Unlimited' potential and no bounds.
To round off the forenight of activations, was an immersive fitness experience which really pushed consumers and media to new heights. This multi-sensory workout spectable was a 3-day only high-intensty training experience but with a twist. The experience was set against an unforgettable lighting and video installation designed by Artisan (formed by the visionaries behind United Visual Artists) . This was accompanied by a bespoke soundtrack composed by Hot Chip duo Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard – performed by a live orchestra no less – is sure to get pulses racing.
