    Nike SB Euro Series: London AMNike SB London AM was the second stops of the 2016 Nike SB London AM at BaySixty6 Skatepark was the second stop of the 2016 European Series. This gave the skating community a oppotunity to show off their crazy skills and gave the Super Final winner a one way to ticket to the Berlin Open. The competition was held at the recently refitted BaySixty6 and was one of the best skateboarding experiences of the year.

    During my work placement year for Nike UK, I experienced a year of huge learnings and built vast knowledge on the various different elements of marketing communications and media. Not only working closely with internal stakeholders, but building relationships with external stakeholders - such as Freuds and Exposure - helping me to connect with the media world and learn about the management of influencer relationships. This has enabled me to network and create relationships with individuals at Nike UK and influential people outside of Nike UK at multiple media events. I’ve had the pleasure of managing unique experiences (such as Presto partnerships, London AM & Euroseries) which have allowed me to experience the best of Nike and build my confidence + leadership skills. Managing both agencies and their expectations has also enabled me to hugely develop team working skills, my communication and organisation; which has made me feel empowered in my role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • To provide assistance and extra support on projects and plans primarily across the Football category and secondly across Running, Women’s Training and Nike Sportswear. • To support several product launches, providing assistance with event management, athlete shoot management, media relations etc bring an authentic young voice and POV. • Involvement in media relations planning, creative strategy, issues management. • Support the PR director and communications team with overall essential administration support including finance and team processes. • Overall management and ownership of x-category product ordering process.
