Nissan Pathfinder Kinect Experience

Coinciding with the Chicago Auto Show in February of 2012, Nissan would be showing off the Pathfinder to the world. But wait... Nissan might not have a car at the show. No car.

Gesture-based experiences are still in the realm of gaming. Some early explorations have been done for commercial use with sweepstakes and "swipe-the-air" types of experiences. Our idea was to use Kinect technology on a big screen, at the auto show, to put people in a Pathfinder.

On the heels of our success with Pathfinder First Person Kinect at the Chicago and NY Auto Shows, we wanted to extend the experience. We knew we could do more to put people in the driver's seat.

The next logical step was completely new ground for us. Nissan dealerships.

We showed off our auto show experience in the halls of NNA and brought a proposal to the 16 top Nissan dealers in the US for a pilot program, exclusive to them. This put the Pathfinder First Person system right in their showrooms.
