Northen Exposure

My children and their mum are Scottish, born and raised. I hope by experiencing Scotland's natural beauty their sense of national identity roots itself more firmly than mine. In a time of brexit and possible Scottish Independence...belonging is important, home is important. Scotland is now my home of some 15 years, yet i'll always be an outsider. Traces of me spread over England, Ireland, Scotland and now the USA. Perhaps I'm European, or just a citizen of the world.
