Not on The High Street - Christmas catalogue shoot 2018

My client wanted to promote 2 small independent companies on their platform and produce an editorial piece in their Christmas catalogue. My brief was to produce 2 front covers and 2 editorial stories with images. The problems I faced were mainly with poor lighting conditions and cramped spaces to photograph in. I overcame these issues with controlled flash lighting to give a consistent look and feel to the images. I also focused closely on the people and products to give an intimate perspective which worked well with the space they were working in. Overall the project was a success and I produced images that worked with the brief I had been given. It was fantastic to gain invaluable experience in producing a catalogue that was distributed nationally.
