Online Festivals - This time for GenZ

  • Ildi Nagy

GenZ seems to be full of mystery. A collaborative work between Brain Bar and Pine Design presented a unique opportunity to focus on the most motivated, high-performing characteristics of CEE university student and high-school senior population. The study attempted to identify worries, fears, hopes through a thorough quantitative methodology and offer insights on how the Brain Bar brand and its affiliated programs might be able to fill the void created by the pandemic.  To complete the research the team attempted to gain insights from the festivals who already completed the switch from offline to online. With the help of UX 24 hours, SMART and the global entrepreneurial brand Startup Safari, the team looked through 3 unique concepts. 1 month of intense co-creation led to deep understanding on how the first wave online festivals coped with the unforeseen challenges, and updated their concept, content and processes.
