Coordinating all marketing related actions of the company, while creating content and delivering it on various platforms. My job is to build and execute an effective strategy for the company during and after our Kickstarter campaign. I joined the team at the very beginning of the company and helped to build it up form scratch. It was a challenging period with various tasks like building the website, brand development, managing online and offline sales. My main task was managing our consumer and market research based on the input from the New Product Development team.

I was able to get valuable experience, insights, knowledge about the topic of migration, displacement crisis and refugee situation with practical ideas on various fields. Communication Working on the social media strategy and realisation part such as: Live Tweeting, organising conversations, doing analytics and coverage (photography, articles, social media posts) for the various events of World Refugee Week with partners such as UNHCR Kenya, Oxfam East-Africa, Amnesty International, Heshima Kenya, Danish Refugee Council etc. I also helped to create a Social Media Manual for the organisation - focusing on community building, fundraising possibilities in the non-profit world. Education Participating on teacher training sessions, community outreach programmes, school visits for the sponsored children, working on assessments with possible scholarship participants.
