Art on a Postcard is delighted to revive its talk programme for the Summer Auction starting with our Curators + Artists Panel Talk. We will be joined by auction curators Hector Campbell and Susan Davis as well as participating artists Yulia Iosilzon and Natalia González Martín discussing how to build an audience in the arts. Hector Campbell, an Art Historian, writer, co-founder of Soup Gallery, and founding member of Collective Ending HQ has extensive experience of working with artists to bring projects and shows together. Susan Davis, founder of Art City Works has over ten years of experience working in the arts and culture sector with a passion for making art more accessible, championing the work of emerging artists and highlighting charitable initiatives. Natalia González Martín graduated from Fine Art Painting at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2017. Since then her work has been exhibited in several group exhibitions including Old Friends, New Friends, Collective Ending, London (2021), The Artist Oracle, White Crypt Gallery, London, (2021), Back To Back, The Artist Contemporary, London (2021). Yulia Iosilzon is an Israeli artist who lives and works in London. She graduated both from the Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal College of Art and has won several prizes for her work, including the Audrey Wykeham Prize in 2016 and the Bloomberg New Contemporaries prize in 2019. Tickets are free with the option to donate, all proceeds will be donated to the Hepatitis C Trust. We will be at the Peckham Pelican at 7pm on Thursday 27th of June, we would love to meet you at this event and we will be taking questions at the end. Please note there is a happy hour from 5-7pm at the Peckham Pelican so get there a bit earlier if you would like to enjoy a cocktail during the talk!
