Pascal Durand is an architect based in Gap, France. In 2019 he commissioned me with the design of his visual identity. Inspired by brutalist architecture and Bauhaus movement, the identity plays with big coloured blocks that highlight the structure of the page underneath. Inspired by cantilevered structures, the logo is all about vertical, horizontal and balance. While the print communication uses 3 main colours, the website proposal offers a wider range. On the later, some of the colour blocks will adapt their hues to the image shown, making the website much more organic and alive.
