Patch - Short Film Branding & Press Release

I had the pleasure of working with Hidden Art Films on their debut short film "Patch" in regards to the design of the film poster and accompanying press release. With the story focussing on the innocence of childhood, the overall look and feel resembles a child's schoolbook, with hand-drawn scribble elements and scruffy edges. The poster depicts the father's anguish and depression within the realm of the more childlike mind of his son, providing a juxtaposition of their two, completely different worlds. The text inside the press release has been presented in a way that appears to be marked in red pen by a teacher, drawing you further into the character's world.
