Patrick Thomas x Chelsea College Briefing
In October 2019, I was responsible for running the Patrick Thomas Open_Collab workshop with 88 First Year students at Chelsea College of Art, UAL.
The aim of the briefing was to generate excitement for the project and demonstrate examples of previous work, whilst encouraging current students to push the boundaries of what they had produced in the first 4 weeks of term.
Delivering a briefing in a video format was an experiment on my part to see if students would be more engaged with the brief, have a better understanding of what is being asked of them and ultimately collaborate with each other produce an exciting outcome.
As Patrick explains 'this workshop is designed to encourage dialogue, experimentation, and - most importantly - collaboration between participants.'
