'Peace of Mind' Collection

Inspired by seascapes and film cinematography, 'Peace of Mind' explores the impact our surroundings have on emotional wellbeing. Designed for installations in healthcare and public spaces, this collection aims to evoke relaxation and calming thoughts. Each piece has been created with nature in mind, boasting transparency, earthy gradients and shimmering surfaces. Hospital patients and visitors often spend a significant amount of time in clinical environments, but this could be damaging to mental health. Similarly, those working in office settings may feel trapped being constantly surrounded by man-made structures. The ideas behind this collection build from previous work following the theme of consumerism; Instead of considering consumerism in terms of excessive use of resources, this takes a glimpse into how we consume and respond to the spaces around us.
