Penal Reform International - Mandela Rules

Penal Reform International was looking to create an animation about the Nelson Mandela Rules, to explain what they are and how they will change conditions for prisoners, and prison management. Tasked to come up with the visual direction, I used a lot of metaphors, playing with positive and negative space, to suggest different scenarios around prisoners treatment. The use of colours strokes along the animation represents all the positive aspect that the Nelson Mandela Rules have put in place over the past 60 years.
