Personal Best Records: Tear council

In 2014 former Van She band members Michael di Francesco aka Touch Sensitive and Matt Vanschie joined forces to introduce a new project Tear Council, the duo teamed up with Personal Best Records to release their new music.

STRATEGY
  • Work alongside our PR agency to announce project and debut single "Anywhere" across media outlets in Australia
  • Utilise pre-existing relationships to secure new opportunities 
  • Manage PR & blogger outreach in-house for international media outlets
  • Deliver social media campaigns targeting Australian music fans and
  • Highlight any international markets that have a growing fan base for the label and target ads to music fans in these locations.
  • Highlight international markets with a fanbase for Touch Sensitive and/or VanShe 
RESULTS
  • Both Tear Council singles "Anywhere" and "My Car" received national radio airplay in Australia across FBi radio and Triple J
  • The music video accompanying the debut single "Anywhere" gained 200K+ views on YouTube and the song received 153K+ plays on Soundcloud
  • The 2nd single "My Car" received 140K+ plays on soundcloud and 83K+ video views on Youtube for the accompanying music video. 
  • "Anywhere" was used for Paco Rabanne's Black XS ad campaign featuring Sky Ferreira in Brazil, France and a number of other European markets
  • Media coverage secured with THUMP, TheMusicAUEDM Spain, LaGaSta Greece, Tracasseur SE
