Clarivate Analytics owns and operates a collection of subscription-based services focused largely on analytics, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology intelligence under their Cortellis brand. Each year, Cortellis produces a ‘Drugs to watch’ report which details seven pharmaceutical drugs which are set to enter the market and achieve blockbuster status. This was my concept for the report’s creative look and feel for 2019. The client was keen to stay away from anything too medical, and focus on something which was more abstract instead. Using a simple graphic style I took cues from forms such as tablets, capsules and microscopic cells to produce interesting patterns and layouts.
