I'm Kat, a Graphic Designer from New Zealand, now based in East London. I have spent the last 9 years living & working in London both agency and client side, and as a freelancer. I'm an integrated designer with a background in print and dabble in a little motion graphics. I love multi-disciplinary projects which allow me the opportunity to work collaboratively with others in a team. Personable and diplomatic, I pride myself on building strong working relationships with both clients and agency peers alike. Taking a positive and practical approach to projects, I am always trying to learn new skills, and as a freelancer, this makes me adaptable to new situations. I love a challenge!Locked Pro Plan feature

Working on the GLL (Greenwich Leisure Ltd) account as Design Services Manager, I was responsible for the client's initial brand rollout, and subsequent campaign and marketing collateral that followed. Providing onsite design services to the Marketing communications team on behalf of OLIVER, I was proactive in improving and refining client studio and briefing process, and I built and effectively managed a studio of both FTE and freelancer resources. Responsibilities while providing on-site studio management also included job bookings, work scheduling/traffic management, admin, account management and general client relationship management. Initially bought on to facilitate the client's new brand rollout, once this was completed I continued to design a variety of print-based marketing material across both a number of large marketing campaigns, and day-to-day collateral. Both of which included but was not limited to various print items; flyers, posters, brochures, infographics, OOH advertising (including 6-48 sheets, billboards, tube escalator panels, bus interiors, bus rears and supersides) window vinyl and van wraps, and working on some digital pieces such as client presentations, social media assets (Facebook ads, Twitter instream images, Instagram etc), plus web banners, google display ads and more. I also retouched various images for campaigns and BAU materials, I assisted in project management and acted as a Brand Guardian on behalf of the client.
