Piaget catalogue cover letter

  • Olivia Pinnock

I was tasked with creating the cover letter for Piaget's Christmas catalogue to be posted out to their customers in the UK and America, and to be translated into various languages for other markets. The goal was to encapsulate the magic of the new season collection and encourage customers to visit Piaget stores, without being overtly sales driven.

Dear Madam [CLIENT NAME] /Dear Mr [CLIENT NAME],
As the holiday festivities approach, we invite you to bring a little radiance into your winter months with our new season catalogue.
Our Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire have crafted a dazzling collection of our most exquisite jewelry and timepieces, made from the purest materials, for you to discover and be inspired by, throughout these pages.
This season, our masterpieces have been created by drawing on the spirit of a magical winter fable which took place in our birthplace, La Côte-aux-Fées, high in the Swiss Jura Mountains. The story begins on a cold, winter’s night, with a small boy standing at his window. As he looked out, a bright, golden star fell from the sky and disappeared into the snow-capped forest. Captivated by its beauty, he went in search of it to claim it for himself. However, when he found the star, still shining brightly, a moment of inspiration, talent and generosity came over him. Using the star’s brilliance, he invented extraordinary creations of sparkling jewels and timepieces. Radiant, pure and brilliant, these pieces would become the source of the brightest light and the essence of giving.
The story continues in our boutiques in the coming months and it is our pleasure to invite you to join us for a celebration of true radiance.
Be our guest, find your own striking moment of inspiration in our boutique [BOUTIQUE NAME] and possess a small ray of the star that fell from the sky on that winter’s night. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
With our warmest wishes for the festive season and New Year.
Yours faithfully,
