SOHO HOUSE White city London, July 2021 Poete Maudit was born from the idea to explain the mood of a misunderstood artist that spent every night to lie with the truth by taking substances and alcohol which caused deep and controversial thoughts. The creative process is a long journey within yourself, reflecting on the struggles with mental abuse and depression which can take a hold off a person for long periods of time. The constant battle between what who you are and how you want people to perceive you, the pain and endless abyss that can take a hold of a persons soul and which is then reflected into shapes and art upon the emotions felt in different periods of time. Poète Maudit nasce dall'idea di raccontare lo stato d'animo di un artista incompreso e sofferente che spende intere notti ad ingannare la realtà tramite sostanze, alcol e pensieri taglienti. Il processo creativo è come un lungo viaggio dentro se stessi dove a volte basta distrarsi un secondo per rimanerci incastrato dentro per mesi. La costante battaglia tra quello che sei e quello che gli altri vedono in te talvolta puo' farti perdere la strada. Lo sporco, il dolore, il nero che non riesci a sputare fuori prende forma fino a diventare pura arte.
