I challenged myself by asking the people from Poetry International to hunt down all original handwritten poems from this year's selection. The original handwriting would add an extra layer, make it more personal and gave insight into each of the poets' character. The publication itself was already bilingual, with translations in Dutch and English. Some spreads would end up with four versions of the same poem. The end result was like a scrapbook consisting of scribbled writings, typewriter notes and found photographs.
