Polari Zine - Our Lives: Our Eyes

Polari (@polarizine) is an emerging visual community for queer people of all identities, expressions and generations. I have worked with fellow queer people to help authentically capture their personalities through my 35mm photography. The result is a photozine highlighting individual narratives through organic portraits and personal handwritten text. The first issue focuses on queer creatives and students in Nottingham. Nottingham, despite its burgeoning queer scene, receives minimal attention in discussions of LGBTQIA+ identities and culture. Having called the city home for the past 4 years, I decided to dedicate the first issue to this underrepresented demographic.
