Popshot Quarterly Magazine

This literary magazine has been a favourite project of mine as I am interested in illustration. I commissioned and art directed the cover and content, which was illustrated throughout. I introduced typographic illustration and collages to the visuals - shifting the look and feel of this magazine to a high standard. Some of the fiction included poetry - which was often quite a challenge to interpret - I worked with the illustrators to ensure the visuals complemented the text and meaning. I was keen to promote the artists I'd worked with, which led to working with the artist Joanna Layla at an illustration workshop at the House of Illustration. I was pleased to share my tips and advice with students on commissioning illustration.
