Porsche: Establishing an impactful conference identity

Challenge: Porsche tasked me with developing a distinctive brand identity for their inaugural PPX Conference 2024—an event aimed at uniting training and PPX managers from around the globe. The brief highlighted the need for an identity that embodied the themes of team spirit, motivation, and cutting-edge professionalism, while embracing a bold, minimalistic design approach.

Solution: I designed an identity that resonates with Porsche’s ethos of precision and power yet is approachable and minimalistic. Utilising a stark colour palette of neon green, black, and white, I incorporated a striking ‘X’ graphic from the name to symbolise connection. The choice of the Porsche Next typeface family in various weights helped balance the boldness of the visuals with clear, readable content. This design strategy not only enhanced brand recognisability but also encouraged participation and engagement among their diverse audience.

Impact: The conference identity successfully transformed the PPX Conference into a beacon for innovation and collaboration within Porsche. It bolstered team spirit and fostered a sense of unity among participants. The conference’s visuals and materials, were instrumental in making the PPX Conference a landmark event, promising to set a new standard for future gatherings.
