We strive to work with purpose-driven people who are as passionate about their work as we are and who also believe in the value and importance of diversity and inclusion. Giving opportunities to women including non-binary, agender and gender non-conforming people from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, is an important part of our ethos.
We provide Creative Direction, Art Direction, Campaigns, Strategy, Identity, Design, Production, Film, Moving Image, Copywriting, Experiential, and Digital.
Recent clients include: Tate, Stella McCartney, Porsche, Arts Council Collection, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Hayward Publishing, End Violence Against Women, NHS England, Modern Art Oxford and Women in Prison.
In my spare time I mentor women through SHESAYS: Who’s Your Momma and run and host the podcast Making It: In Design which aims to make the design industry a more inclusive and diverse place. (Number 4 in the UK DesignPodcast Charts).
Projects
- After Isolation – ExhibitionAfter Isolation is an exhibition gathering nine women artists from different mixed ethnicities dedicated to creating art under the theme of life after the pandemic. We designed an identity focused around the concept of 'New Beginnings'. In order to effectively portray this without using any artworks (as most were not made yet) we explored nature which was also a key theme in many of the artists proposals. We worked with a time lapse film of flowers blooming which we then blurred to abstraction
- End Violence Against Women – Who Gets Off CampaignWe were asked by End Violence Against Women to create a campaign to raise awareness around rape and victim blaming. Their main aim was to get the public and media behind the campaign which in turn would drive more public conversations, push for an end to end review of how rape is handled by the criminal justice system, and guarantee advocacy for all rape victims. In order to connect with the audience we decided to use real stories from women’s experiences. These came from research End Violence
- Breaking the Mould: Sculpture by Women since 1945 – ExhibitionBreaking the Mould: Sculpture by Women since 1945 presents a diverse and significant range of ambitious work by women. It challenges the male-dominated narratives of post-war British sculpture, whilst seeking to inspire future generations, supporting the maxim ‘if she can see it she can be it’. Working in collaboration with Kelly Barrow, we created a bold and unapologetic identity using visual breaks and sculptural stacking of typography for the exhibition ident. - After Isolation: A future imagined/predictedAfter isolation will explore the theme of our life after the pandemic. Through different angles (mental health, social and environmental) we will study the capacity of human being to be adaptable and the possibilities of change that this situation has brought us, change we can bring to the world that needs so much of it.
