Poster for the Stage - Fake Mermaid

This was for a stage production of Ruddigore. The director for this production planned to set it in a seaside resort in 1960, and asked for a a couple of 'Fleece the Tourist' posters to place around the stage. I mentioned the concept in passing to my niece who immediately said 'Fake Mermaid'! The director agreed, and I had another chance to try out the brilliant 60's cartoon style. The line 'Of that there is no manner of doubt' was requested by the director and is a slightly nerdy nod to another show they've put on in the past.
