Posters | Personal project

Series of posters created as a result of reading the news about Afghanistan and Haiti earlier this August, and the already ongoing humanitarian crisis, social issues, climate emergency, etc. around the world. I couldn't believe all the horrible things that are happening to our fellow human beings and it feels like we are living in a parallel world. The feeling of despair, despair in humanity and the old classic quote 'I read the news today. Oh boy' inspired me to create some posters using typography and images that helped to translate those feelings into graphic ideas. Also a good exercise to remove the rust after being working mostly on illustration projects in the last months. I played with analogue tools + dived into my old pictures folders that I haven't seen in ages and found some interesting stuff shot with my point and shoot camera in the early 2000s. I'm still working on a few more and will be sharing them in the next few days. Hope you like them, and that a miracle will happen to fix this crazy world ✨
