Redesign of a Double Decker London bus, to be used for festivals as part of the Prime Time Lager brand expansion. The ground floor of the bus will be reconfigured into a bar for general public. The first floor will hold the VIP section, including a DJ booth and multifunctional seating. As this project is in the commercial sector, it is important to address the durability/sustainability of the space and how the materials will add to the design. The materials must be stain resistance, waterproof and also be flame retardant due to the use of the space. Aesthetic of the space is to be clean and minimal which will be achieved by incorporating a neutral colour palette with accents of bolder colours. Flooring will be cohesive throughout the space and must be slip and scratch resistant. Decorative lighting will be used throughout the space to create ambiance, as well as task lighting, that provides enough brightness to help complete required tasks will be installed around the bar and the DJ booth. A requirement for the space is to ensure flexibility. Creating a flexible space that also include secure storage. Although it is expected Prime Time Lager will use the entire space predominantly, it may be rented as separately, encouraging communication between different professionals.
