Whilst on maternity leave, during lockdown I volunteered to set up a charitable organisation, #PinYourThanks, a mechanism for people to thank their heroes who helped them during Covid. The public purchase a pin badge designed by a UK national treasure and at the same time help NHS charities. Key Responsibilities • Built the overall business model to ensure operational profitability, ensuring 50% of the badge cost went to charity • Identified fulfilment options and negotiated costs to ensure we achieved the highest customer experience possible whilst maximising the charitable donation • Set up of end to end reporting and operational metrics to identify issues with sales journey/drop offs and any opportunities to maximise sales • Production of all consumer purchasing guidance and policies (privacy, data protection, returns etc)
