Over the course of a cold February weekend was held within the frame of the Glasgow Film Festival (GFF) a double event that wanted audiences to reflect on the treachery of images. It wanted to explore the thematics of surveillance in relation to espionage as well as the deliberate sharing of the images we take of our – not so private anymore – lives. Far from being designed as a moralizing event, the happening relied on various interventions, screenings, installations and exhibitions, as well as a flamboyant closing party which enriched the spectators' experience and celebrated the joyful yet responsible use one may make of visuals technologies and arts.
