Project Jacquard

Project Jacquard makes it possible to weave touch and gesture interactivity into any textile using standard, industrial looms. Everyday objects such as clothes and furniture can be transformed into interactive surfaces.
We partnered with Google's research devision, ATAP, who developed the interactive fabric. We helped name, shape, and position Project Jacquard—which was announced at Google I/O 2015 with an installation to demo the fabric, a website to detail the progression of the technology, and a film to tell the project's story.
