This publication is an in-depth investigation into the implications of the privatisation of public spaces on minority groups - focusing mainly on how public toilets reflect the ways in which our shared environment is segregated. Through studying the development of public toilets through history, the book highlights the struggle for people of colour, women, and LGBT individuals to access public space safely.
