I have graduated from Goldsmiths University with a BA Hons in Design. I am a creative problem solver and passionate about applying and developing my creativity in new environments. I have gained a deep understanding of how creative subjects can be used as a tool to influence, engage, and educate others. From my experience, I understand how to engage with diverse groups and communities and offer design solutions.
Using a cross-disciplinary approach is central to what I do. I believe this has allowed my practice to continuously adapt and develop to a range of different briefs. I have an excellent command of Adobe suite, digitally editing and developing ideas is what I love to do. My work is always the product of extensive research and fully engaging with the briefs. I am excited about the next opportunity to develop my career and develop my creative practice.
Projects
- My OutsideMy Outside is a visual response to the connection between humans and their personal garden environments. The project addresses wider social anthropocentric views of ecology. The publication is developed through intimate and well-documented interviews with suburban garden owners. The images are not of overtly lush green spaces but instead, show the reality of our suburban environment and the emotional and social value of our outdoor spaces. It proposes the positive implications of engaging school
- Re-Mapping New CrossRe-Mapping New Cross is a public art project completed during my final year at Goldsmiths. It is a response to the increasing privatisation of public space in New Cross, London, and the effects on its residents. Throughout this project, I used bottom-up strategies to generate maps that reflect the community who live and experience the place that is depicted. This process of drawing a map from memory revealed people's stories of discrimination and isolation that is embedded within our experienc
- The Everlasting Tour of the Tate Modern'The Everlasting Tour' celebrates the way in which plastic has benefitted society, so we can begin to value it as a material. The tour explores how plastic has led to advances in architecture, medicine or even feminism. By appreciating its value, we change a societal perception that it needs to be thrown away. Instead, we can develop a system that wants to re-use and appropriately utilise it within our everyday life. We begin to alter the perception of this material that has been tainted through
- Arts Ed Green Roof Visuals,I completed work for the performing arts school for the campaign for a top floor green roof. This versatile roof terrace, which includes a brand new drama studio, will be for the exclusive use of the day school and sixth form pupils. The area is designed for multiple purposes to enhance students learning and their engagement with the environment.
- Publication- Public Loo's and Public TruthsThis publication is an in-depth investigation into the implications of the privatisation of public spaces on minority groups - focusing mainly on how public toilets reflect the ways in which our shared environment is segregated. Through studying the development of public toilets through history, the book highlights the struggle for people of colour, women, and LGBT individuals to access public space safely.
- Un-archiving the Museum for LewishamWorking alongside the Museum for Lewisham archivists, I curated an exhibition at the local community library (New Cross Learning Centre). The Museum for Lewisham is a collection of different objects donated by the community of Lewisham, unfortunately, due to lack of funding by the council, the collection has been hidden in boxes in a basement for many years. The objects were carefully selected to highlight the people's history of New Cross - to highlight the struggle for the everyday working pe

After graduating I was given the opportunity for a few days of work experience, in De Matos Ryan architects, a small team based in Farringdon. Following this experience, I was immediately offered a salaried placement for six months. I supported the team on digital designs and research reports working on briefs including the green roof for Arts-Ed and 3D modeling of the V&A Museum of Childhood. My practice was one of the first to incorporate co-design, where we used workshops with children in the local area to inspire the design of the kaleidoscope staircase.
I supported the team on digital designs - I helped win competitions during my time there. I worked on the competition that developing visuals and ideas that helped win the 3 million Wonderlab science museum in York.
